Ovid Ray Stricker was born on September 22, 1930 in Marked Tree Arkansas, the son of Helen Malone and Luther Stricker. He was a professional Barber, and drove a truck for Roadway for many years. He was united in marriage to Willie Mae Mcclard. Ovid loved to fish, and was a good cook. He took care of Willie Mae many years at home before her death. He leaves a son, Daniel Ray Stricker, nieces, Lacretia Lemons, Bonnie L. Young, Kristine Stricker Chu, and a nephew, Scott Stricker, and 5 grand nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae, 2 brothers, Harold Melvin and Richard Maurice, and a sister Emogene Lemons.
