Patricia Born AuBuchon was born on October 2, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, and passed away on January 20, 2026, also in Memphis.

Pat was a devoted mother, sister, and friend who deeply loved her family and the many people fortunate enough to know her. She had a joyful spirit and a true love for life, always bringing warmth, laughter, and kindness into every space she entered. Known for her strong work ethic, she was deeply devoted to her career and took pride in all that she did.

Pat was a faithful member of Hope Presbyterian Church for over 20 years, where she formed lasting friendships and lived out her faith through service and love for others. She had a tight bond with Mickey Mouse and found happiness in the simple joys that made life bright. Her caring heart and genuine compassion touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jernigan (Matthew Jernigan); her brother, Dale Born (Sherry Born); her sister, Levina Westrope (David Westrope); and her cherished nieces and nephews: Kimberly Flowers (Brandon Flowers), Richard Born, Amy Cook (Travis Cook), Victor Westrope (Kimberly Westrope), Terry Born (JoAnn Born), and Garry Born.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Clara Born; her brothers, Jerry Born, Bill Born, Kenneth Born; and her nephew, Wesley Born.

Services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Hope Presbyterian Church, in the chapel, located at 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38108. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. The family will continue to Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery South following the service.
