Patricia "Pat" Clarkson Daniels, 78, of Memphis, TN, passed away on January 12, 2018 after a short illness. She was born on June 6, 1939, in Rossville, Ga, to the late Thurman and Gretchen Secrist Clarkson.

She is survived by her best friend of 70 years, Ms. Rebecca Taylor; niece, Kendall Woodard (Mitch); niece, Victoria Woodard; and nephew, Max Woodard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Gretchen Secrist Clarkson; and her husband of 35 years, Danny Daniels.

Pat loved all things of nature, especially visiting the Memphis Zoo and gardening. She also loved to read, and was an avid genealogist. She will be dearly missed, and remembered always by her close friends, whom she considered her family.

Visitation for Mrs. Daniels will be held at 1:00 Monday, January 15, 2018 with funeral services following at 2:00 Monday. Services are entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133. Her family of friends request that those who want to honor her memory to provide a donation in her name to the Memphis Zoo.
