Patricia "Pat" Davis Osborne, 79, of Germantown, TN, went home to be with the Lord, and Andrew, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. Pat had a matchless love for life and for people, having never met a stranger. She was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, especially in her role as Nana to her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, listening, talking, worshiping, and serving God and others (but not necessarily in that order.) Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Davis and Sarah Green Davis, and by her son Andrew Davis Osborne. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Carl "Bob" E. Osborne, Jr.; her daughter, Leah Ann Kelley and her husband Tom Kelley; her son, Carl Osborne III and his wife Susan Osborne; her siblings, Shirley Chandler, Roger Davis, Mildred Harris, John Davis, Jerry "David" Davis, and Marilyn Miller; her grandchildren, Brittany and husband, Nicholas "Nick" Piegari, April Osborne, Noah Kelley, Katie Mayer, Morgan Osborne, Olivia Osborne, and Allie Mayer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00 pm, all at East Win Christian Church, 4350 Hacks Cross Rd., Memphis, TN 38125. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mid-South Christian College, Andrew and Pat Osborne Scholarship Fund.
