Patricia "Patsy" Maddox Evans, 66, formerly of Parsons, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ohio and Memphis, Tennessee departed our world on the morning of June 23, 2017 at her residence in Nashville. Born on February 2, 1951 in Memphis, she was predeceased by her parents, Maxine Miller, Floyd Maddox, and David R. Miller. Patsy graduated from Oakhaven High School in 1969 and Memphis State in 1973 - Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She was an educator - specializing in high school Spanish and English and was a lovable teacher for over 16 years in several communities, most memorably with Shelby County Schools and Cincinnati Public Schools. She made friends with everyone she met, had an incomparable laugh and smile, and loved the Lord. Survivors include her son, Jeff Evans of Atlanta, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Richard Elliott of Foxboro, Massachusetts; her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Robert Davenport of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and their children Jordan and McKenzie and countless friends and family from her life whom she loved and never forgot. A visitation and funeral service to celebrate her life and journey to heaven will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East in Memphis, TN at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
