Patricia was born on September 15, 1939, and she left us on November 30, 2024, at the age of 85—though anyone who knew her would tell you she despised being called old. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene J. Tartera Sr., her only son Eugene J. Tartera Jr., three cherished grandchildren—Crystal, Joseph (Joey), and JayDavid—along with six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and her beloved companion, Loki, her faithful puppy.

Patricia is survived by her three siblings: Brenda, Jeannie, and Frankie. She was a truly generous person, always ready to give the clothes off her back if her husband allowed it. Anyone who visited her home could always count on a warm meal—her hospitality was unmatched, and she ensured no one ever left hungry or thirsty. She had a knack for checking in on her guests, often asking if they wanted something every few minutes, and even if you declined, you would inevitably find a drink in your hand.

Her nurturing spirit was a testament to her character; she always wanted to ensure everyone was taken care of. While she could be stubborn, particularly in her later years, she embodied determination and independence, often refusing to ask for help even when she needed it. Her strength inspired us all to strive to be better individuals.

Patricia was a loving mother and a devoted wife, and her absence will be felt deeply every moment of every day.
