Patsy Ray Brown, 75, of Bartlett, TN passed away on June 5, 2018 at 10:21 AM after a long illness.  She was surrounded by the love of her family at the time she began her eternal life.  She was born on January 1, 1943, in Fayette County, TN, to the late Everett and Odelcie Williams,  She was a woman of faith, family, and strength, who loved unconditionally.  She made a wonderful and loving home for her family.  She was a member of Ellendale Church of Christ, and the Memphis Firefighters Ladies Auxillary.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James A. Brown.  She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, James R. Brown; Jerry Brown (Wendy); and Jack Brown (Sonya); a sister, Jean Byrd; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018, and her funeral service will be held at 2:00 Friday, June 8, 2018.  All services are entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.  Her interment will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Garden, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Memphis, TN.  Those wishing to honor the memory of Mrs. Brown are asked to donate to Children's Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR, 72450 or to the charity of their choice.
