Patsy L. Houghton went to be with her Lord on December 1, 2025. Born March 24, 1932, in Shidler OK. She was the eldest of four children to her parents, Clarence Elberne Worthington and Berlie Gertrude Allred Worthington.

The family moved to San Antonio, TX, where Patsy met David H. Houghton, a sailor in the U.S. Navy and they married February 16,1952. Patsy loved to play golf, bowl, sing in the church choir, and was an avid Memphis Tigers Basketball fan.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, David; her daughter, Mary Whitt; and two sisters, Jean and Joyce.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Stillwell (Rick); grandchildren Andy Vinson (Elizabeth), Jennifer Meeks (Thomas), and Laura Johnston (Wade), her brother, Bill Worthington, of Texas, and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Patsy will be held at Bartlett United Methodist Church on December 4, 2025, visitation is from 10:00-11:00AM and services to begin at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Food Pantry or Music Ministries at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road, Bartlett TN 38134.
