IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patty Jean
Lafleur
February 28, 1929 – September 16, 2024
Patty Jean LaFleur, 95, of Strayhorn, MS passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born in Nettleton, Arkansas on February 28, 1929, to parents Edwin and Lora Heathcock. She retired from Bellsouth and was a faithful member at Strayhorn Baptist Church. Patty married the love of her life William E. LaFleur, and from that union six beautiful children were created. Patty enjoyed playing card games and dominoes with family and friends. Reading books and listening to music was some things she enjoyed as well as watching westerns, sitting outside, talking and enjoying the scenery. Patty loved to have company and spending times outdoors, it was one of her most favorite pastimes. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William LaFleur, her siblings, Maurice Heathcock, Mary Sexton, Nina Stephens, Margie May, Edith Heathcock, and Nancy Heathcock, as well as a son David LaFleur. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Thomas E. LaFleur-Bobbitt, William J. LaFleur, Cathy Oswalt, Harry M. LaFleur, and Timothy J. Lafleur, 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, as well as 5 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister Betty Chaney and a brother Marian Heathcock. Patty will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.
