Paul D. Eggers, 67, of Oakland, TN, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital/Memphis. He was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church, a retired block mason and a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Eggers is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cheri Eggers; children, Michelle Eggers of Memphis, TN and Brandon Eggers (Jennifer) of Bartlett, TN; sister, Mary Brower (Gordon) of Bartlett, TN; brother, Steve Eggers (Sherry) of Oakland, TN and grandchildren, Emi, Aubrey and Eli. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis.
