Paul V. Elrod, 92, passed away in Memphis, TN on May 2, 2019.  Mr. Elrod was a United States Navy veteran and was retired from Memphis Light, Gas, and Water.  He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Martha Elrod, one brother, Phillip Elrod and a sister, Modine Hale.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 69 years, Mildred Pauline Elrod, sons, Albert T. Elrod of Memphis and Paul Michael Elrod also of Memphis, and one brother Audie Elrod of North Carolina and Mrs. Hazel Harris, a neighbor of thirteen years so very caring and helpful.  Mr. Elrod was a faithful man and a very loving father.  Visitation with his family will be on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM and his funeral service will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East. 901-382-1000
