Pauline Frances Needham Dixon (Polly), 93, of Southaven, MS passed away at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN on August 21, 2025.

Polly was born in Memphis, TN and graduated in 1950 from Whitehaven High School.

She was a long-time member of Longstreet United Methodist Church and upon its closure she joined Southaven First Methodist Church.

Her passions included gardening, animals, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Pauline Needham; her husband, William M. Dixon, and her sister, Bobby Joyce Yates.

She leaves her four children: Doug Dixon (Donna), Mike Dixon (Flo), Donna Robertson (Chuck) and Teresa Barton (Joe); six grandchildren: Laurin and Matt Dixon, Kelly and Sam Robertson, Jake Barton (Leah) and Alex Barton (Ayla).

Three Great Grandchildren: Archer, Elise and Elaine Barton.

One Honorary Granddaughter: Victoria Jones (Parker) and three Honorary Great Grandchildren: Michael and Elizabeth Jones and Mya Dugan.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 26th, with the service immediately following at Southaven First Methodist Church. The burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
