Peggy Joyce Mabry Gibbs, 72, passed away Thursday June 29,2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN from a long battle of Cancer.
Peggy's life will be celebrated on July 3,2023 at First Baptist Church of Southaven 8888 Hwy 51 Southaven, MS. The visitation will be at 12 PM and the celebration will follow at 1PM. The graveside service will be held at Forest Hill South Cemetery immediately following at
2545 East Holmes Rd Memphis, TN.

Peggy was born on January 16,1951 in Memphis, TN. Her parents are the late L.V. Mabry and Carline Mabry of Heber Springs, AR. Peggy was raised in Horn Lake, MS and graduated from Horn Lake High School in 1969. Peggy worked for many years as a retail merchandiser. She had 3 Brothers: Jimmy Mabry (Shirley), Tommy Mabry (Julia), and Bobby Mabry (Edna). Peggy had a love for animals. She grew up with a horse and owned several dogs in her life. She always enjoyed being around her friends, family and especially her 6 grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Carline Mabry, age 95, of Heber Springs, AR, Son Brian (Melissa) Gibbs of Hernando, MS, Jason (Stephanie) Gibbs of Southaven, MS. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Oakley Gibbs, 20, Keeley Gibbs, 17, Maria Gibbs, 10, Madison Gibbs, 6, Mabry Gibbs, 3, and Mason Gibbs, 2. She also leaves behind nieces Dawn McMaster, and Tina Mabry, nephews; Robby Mabry, Jerry Mabry, and Ray Mabry, sisters-in- law; Shirley Mabry, Edna Mabry, and Julia Mabry and several friends that she loved dearly.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father L.V. Mabry, brother Jimmy Mabry, brother Tommy Mabry, and brother Bobby Mabry.

Peggy Joyce Mabry will forever be missed.
