Peggy Joyce Hurdle, 88, of Southaven, MS beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Olive Grove Terrace in Olive Branch, MS. Mrs. Hurdle was born to the late Jack and Mattie Lou Metts in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. She was retired from Kimberly Clark and a member of Church Road Baptist Church of Horn Lake, MS. Peggy was preceded by her husband, Bruce Howard Hurdle and grandson, Blake Oldham. She leaves four children: Shelia Oldham (Bill) of Eudora, MS, Jack Hurdle (Anita) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Judy McLaughlin (Alan) of Collierville, TN and Steve Hurdle (Kim) of Mt. Pleasant, MS; nine grandchildren: Joshua and Jeremy McLaughlin, Amanda Oldham, Jay, Joel and Hunter Hurdle; Heather McLemore, Holly Crain and Emily Garrett; three great grandchildren: Dakota Hurdle, Emma Grace Hurdle and Mason Willer. The family request that memorials are sent to Church Road Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:30pm on Friday, November 17 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
