Obituary

Peggy Mask Watkins, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and accomplished businesswoman, passed away peacefully at the age of 91.

Born on November 5, 1934, Peggy lived a life marked by hard work, independence, and a deep love for her family. She began her career with Welcome Wagon, where she quickly developed a reputation for her warmth and personable nature. She later followed her passion for beauty and service, becoming a highly successful hairdresser and proud owner of her own salon in downtown Memphis.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters and her beloved husband, William Audra Watkins Sr.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her daughter, Cyndi Brown; her son, Bill Watkins and his wife Marilyn; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, with an eighth great-grandchild expected to arrive in August. Her legacy of strength, and dedication to family will live on through them.

Peggy will be remembered for her entrepreneurial spirit, her caring heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations.
