Peggy Jean Wideman, age 79, of Bartlett, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Memphis on March 4, 1942 to the late Quanah and Clara (Mundling) Moore.

Peggy was an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling and camping.  She retired twice - first from Shulton/Old Spice, and then from Wright Medical.  She loved Jesus and would help anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Billy, Butch, Jim, and Kenny.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Billy Joe Wideman, sons William Allen Wideman (Tina) and David Wideman (Cheryl), sisters Bobbie Jordan and Diane Smith, grandchildren Kayla, Brook, Brice, Matthew, and Lauren, great-grandchildren Hudson, Harper, and Cade, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2021 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133 from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park East.
