Philip Ray James was born on October 30, 1961 to Bobby and Sarah JoAnn James, in Memphis, TN. He passed away on March 4th, 2019 at the age of 57, in Monroe,  NC. His greatest loves in life were music and the ocean. He enjoyed going to concerts and playing guitar.  He is survived by his wife Shari Troumbley, his daughters Sarah Lepisto and JoAna Haynes & husband Justin Haynes, grandsons Logan Uhlir, Timmy Lepisto, and Kai Main, parents Bobby and Barbara James, sister Lynn Franks & husband Rob Franks, and nephew Jake Franks & wife Hannah. He is proceeded in death by his Mother JoAnn James, Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Moore, Mr. & Mrs. Luke James, Uncles R.E. Moore, Sonny James, and Aunt Doris Jean Bizzel. Memorial services will be at Forest Hills East in Memphis, TN on Saturday March 9th at 3pm.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The Save The Music Foundation or The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
