Phillip E. Matthews, 56, of Bartlett, TN, was raised in Rosemark by his parents, the late Ben and Margaret Matthews. He worked for the Steamfitters Local Union #614 and was a member of Too Many Drivers and the Truth. Mr. Matthews is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith Matthews of 23 years; daughter, Margaret Hope Matthews; three sisters, Dianne Bellar, Donna House, Susan Heider; and a brother, Gary Matthews. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosemark Cemetery.
