Nesbit - Pollard Woodard Harrison, 90, of Nesbit, MS, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2012. He was born in Sidon, MS on October 3, 1921. He was a retired Purchasing Agent for Dabney-Hoover Supply Company in Memphis, TN. Pollard was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Nesbit and a Veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theatre. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Pollard and Rosebud Colvin Harrison of Nesbit and one daughter, Barbara Harrison Beegle of Oklahoma City, OK. Pollard is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ahlean Corder Harrison; two daughters, Pam Stanfill (Mike) of Horn Lake and Jan Carroll (Don) of Hernando; and two sons, John Harrison (Jane) of Horn Lake and Dennis Harrison (Sissy) of Olive Branch. His life was deeply enriched by his many grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren. His greatest treasures were his church, his family and his farm. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Memorials may be sent to the Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church of Nesbit Building Fund.
