Polly Ann Smith was born on September 5, 1929 near Greenville, MS and passed away on January 9, 2016 at the age of 86 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Hart Smith and a son, Ronald L. Smith. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Halliwell (Tommy), Terry Smith (Debbie), Paul Smith (Ann), Michael Smith, Phyllis Smith and Jonathan Smith; grandchildren, Tammy, Tunga, Tina, Steven, Tracy, Darlene and James Ronald; and by numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12 from 5-7 pm with funeral services to begin on Wednesday, Jan 13 at 10:00 am, all held at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Road.
