Priscilla Josephine Sain went to Heaven November, 19, 2015. One of four children born to Oga and Lee Roberds in Leachville, AR. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, and her sisters, Sondra Bertrand and Kathryn Downing. She is survived by one remaining sibling, her brother, Darryel Roberds, from Dothan, AL. She was married to the love of her life, Gaylon Sain, for over 52 years, who went to be with the Lord in April, 2009. They had two children, Melonie Simpson, from Arlington, TN and Rusty Sain from Olive Branch, MS. Her cherished grandchildren are Jason Henderson, Tate Henderson, Philip Henderson, Jenifer Sain, and Taylor Sain. She also leaves five great grandchildren, Tori, Tucker, Bella, Paislee and Ava. Her family was truly her world. She was a commercial artist for most of her working life. Even though she had no college education, she was hired on the spot by a man who saw the strength, talent, confidence and potential in this headstrong woman who came to the interview with a portfolio under her arm that included, among other things, sketches of pinup girls! And, she made sure that he never regretted that decision. She had her priorities right. God first, then family and friends. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for many years, and praised God through music in the choir under the leadership of Jim Whitmire for over 30 years. She was a member of the women's ministry, active in politics and a passionate member of FLARE, a group of Christian women dedicated to changing the world by bringing attention to issues such as abortion, drunk driving laws, etc. For many years, she was a regular caller on local radio talk shows. She was not the "sit back and watch the world go by" type of person...No, she wanted to make a difference. They later joined Faith Baptist Church under the godly leadership of Danny Sinquefield, where they remained members until their death. And, make a difference they did. If you look in the dictionary for the definition of unconditional love, you would see a picture of Gaylon and Priscilla. Just like everyone else, their family experienced much joy, but also very hard and difficult times. There was heartbreak, conflict, all those things. But, walk in their door, and walk into open arms with the comment, "Come here, Baby". She will be remembered by her family and friends as many things: Daughter, Sister, Sweetheart, Mom, Mamaw, Aunt Sissy, Devoted friend, Child of the King, Beautifulinside and out, Artist, Guitar Player, Rider of horses, Cheerleader Mom, Gracious Hostess, Amazing Cook, Gardener, Cat lover, Fashionista, Classy Lady, and Loyal Choir Member. And now, she is singing First Soprano in Heaven's Choir. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-3:00 pm with funeral services to immediately follow at 3:00 pm, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
