Rachel Elizabeth Griffin was born October 27,1919 in Ripley, Tennessee to James Lofton Jennings and Eddie Georgia Griffin (Clay). Rachel went to meet her Lord Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the age of 94 in Lexington, Tennessee. She was one of 5 children. Marvin, Maggie, and Spurgin, preceded her in death. She is survived by her remaining brother Harold Jennings of Knoxville, Tennessee. She married James Clifford Griffin on December 28, 1941. He passed away in 1975. She is survived by her 2 sons and spouses. Jack and Linda Griffin of Arlington, Tennessee and Bob and Darlene Griffin of Cherry Valley, California, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at: Forest Hill Cemetery South, Friday, January 17, 2014. 2 p.m. Public viewing begins at 1 p.m.
