Ralph E. "Snooks" McDaniel, Jr., 101 years old, of Memphis, TN passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Covington Care and Rehab Center. Mr. McDaniel was a 1935 graduate of Brighton High School, a WWII Army Veteran and a retiree of International Harvester. He was a member of Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bartlett. Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers: Denver, David, Robert and Calvin McDaniel. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Marie McDaniel; four children: Linda Hughes (Danny) of Oakland, TN, Rodney McDaniel (Carol) of Atoka, Sarah Terrell (Paul) of Oakland and Mildred Williams (Larry, deceased) of Memphis; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12 noon Saturday, May 6 at Salem Presbyterian Church of Atoka, TN with service immediately following. Burial will follow in the Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
