Obituary

Randall James Jackson born Nov 13, 1943 in Bakersfield CA to the late John D. Childers and Claire Loretta (Buell) Childers. He was raised by his mother, Larrie and late father Jimmy L. Jackson. Graduated HS from Admiral Arthur W. Radford High School, Honolulu, Hawaii where "Jimmy Jack" was stationed at the time. Growing up in military family he joined the Marine corps after high school. During this time he met and married Clara Anne Perrette of Memphis,  TN. After being honerably discharged from the Marine Corps he started working for Logan Lesh Communications in Memphis TN. Later he started working for FedEx and was instrumental in the development and design of package tracking. A service that we today use often.

After retiring from Federal Express he and Clara moved to Byhalia, MS. They founded the Belly Rubs Bassett rescue organization and dedicated many years to the care and rehoming of Bassetts, adoptinga few of their own along they way. They are active members of Victoria United Methodist church.
Randall leaves behind his wife, Clara of 54 years, his three children Michelle (Jason) Blagrave of Indianapolis,  IN,  Michael (Ramona) Jackson of Hernando, MS, and Paul (Stacy) Jackson of Ft. Worth, TX; ten grandchildren: William Jackson, Carolyn Jackson, Abigail Jackson, Christopher Jackson,  Aaron Jackson,  Matthew Jackson,  Nathan Pentecost,  Heather Krueger, Abram Pentecost, and Luke Pentecost; and four great grandchildren,  Gabe, Dana, and Kaleah Jackson of Palmdale CA and Thomas Krueger of Indianapolis,  IN.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents Claire Loretta and Jimmy Lloyd Jackson of Wellington, Nevada and John (Ruth) Childers of Bakersfield,  CA and his two brothers Reginald Jackson of Bakersfield, CA and Jimmy Dale Jackson also of Wellington, NV.
His memorial will be at Victoria UMC on July 7th for his church family and a family memorial later in August, location as yet to be determined.
