Obituary

Ray Garmon Ford, 84, formerly of Cordova, retired Master Plumber and member of Plumbers Local #17, died March 4, 2015. Mr. Ford, widower of Linda K. Ford, was a member of Cordova Baptist Church. He attended Treadwell High School before entering the Air Force. He was past Master of Oakville Masonic Lodge #715, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a Shriner. He leaves a son, Glenn A. Ford (Suzanne) of Nashville; two daughters, Paula F. Malone (Kenneth) of Arlington and Barbie Ford of Southaven, Mississippi; a sister, Joyce O'Bannon of Bartlett; three grandchildren, Amanda Malone and Vicky Malone of Arlington and Kenneth Malone Jr. of Memphis; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cordova Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be Monday, March 9 at Forest Hill East with service at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
