Doyl "Ray" McNeal, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born on September 07,1949 in Athens, Alabama to the late Calvin and Octavia McNeal of Whitehaven, Tennessee.

Ray was a proud Air Force Veteran. He was a lifelong fan of the Tennessee Vols, he bled orange. He loved racing, was a dedicated soccer coach and mentor who always volunteered to promote youth development. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his grandchildren dearly.

Ray is preceded in death by his son, David McNeal and sister Patricia Dianne Davis.

Ray leaves his loving wife of 56 years, Ida McNeal; sons, Douglas (Kandi) McNeal of Cordova, Tennessee, Dennis (Barbara) McNeal of Huntsville, Alabama, and Derrick (Katie) of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Erica Hill, Trinity McNeal, Maggie McNeal, Parker McNeal, Ava McNeal; and 13 nieces and nephews that he cherished and adored.

Ray was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle who will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts, forever.
