Reba Walker Mitchell, age 83, passed away May 20, 2020. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family and she is now with her Lord and Savior.

Reba was born in Wrightsville, GA on October 22, 1936 to Issac H. (Buster) & Mattie Idell Walker.

She was a member of Life Church Memphis, where she attended services regularly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie Idell & Issac H. (Buster) Walker, her brother, Joe H. Walker her infant son, James W. Mitchell the 3 ^rd (Jimmy), and her granddaughter, Michelle Nicole Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years James W. Mitchell USN retired of Arlington, TN. , brother, Marcus Dale Walker (Ruth), daughter Markie Dale Cardone (Michael Paul), sons Michael Edward Mitchell, Jamie Hilrey Mitchell (Kathy), Stephen Edward Mitchell, Grandchildren, Jimmie Jackson (Dianna), Chrisie Roberson (Dave), Matthew Mitchell (Kayla) and Kaitlyn Mitchell. She is also survived by her 7 great grandchildren.

Reba was the spouse of a career Navy man, who was moved coast to coast multiple times and never complained. Her only comment was "At least I get to see the country at the Navy's expense."

She worked at Memphis Mental Health Institute as an accountant until she retired.
