Rhesa A. Merritt, 99, of Southaven, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Land Mark of DeSoto.

Mr. Merritt was an U.S. Army Veteran and owner of Merritt Auto Supply in Southaven. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Onedia, one sister, Mae Leyh and brother, Orion Merritt.

He leaves three children: Wayne Merritt (Teresa) of Southaven, Linda Reese (Kelly) of Tampa, FL and Sandy Merritt of Horn Lake; four grandchildren, Jeff Merritt (Pam), Greg Merritt (Tiffany) Wendy Robinson (Dan) and Kevin Reese; also 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, May 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Forest Hill South with Service at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
