Richard Whitman Lee, 77, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord, April 14, 2013. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and retired Army ROTC instructor with the Memphis City Schools. He was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Nancy McCollum Lee. He is survived by his three daughters, Donna Ray, Becky King, and Melissa Garrett; sister, Gladys Lee; and six grandchildren. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Lelia Lee of Jackson, TN. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. The family requests any memorials be sent to Baptist Trinity Hospice House.
