Richard Lloyd Vaughan, 69, widower of Mary Jeanette Vaughan, died on September 14, 2015. Richard Vaughan served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and the United States Postal Service for 44 years. He is survived by: daughter Sharon Vaughan Gay, son Bryce Lloyd Vaughan; son in law Chris A Gay; grandchildren Taylor Marie Culpepper, Jason Alexander Gay, Bryson Lloyd Vaughan, and Rachel Elizabeth Gay; great-grandchild Carter Lee Thornton; sisters Pamela Vaughan Vickery, and Amelia Norman Blanton; best friend Mike Harris. Richard was preceded in death by his mom Amelia Bauer Norman, dad Cary Lloyd Vaughan, and step-dad AV Norman. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Forest Hill East Cemetery located at 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133.
