Rita
Ellis
Dec 16, 1945 — May 4, 2021
Rita Ann Ellis (Jackson) never met a stranger. She was the kind of woman you couldn't forget and didn't want too. With a kind, gentle soul she loved any and everybody. On most days she could be found reading a sappy romance novel, completing a puzzle or sitting out in the sun pulling weeds. She loved pulling those weeds. She enjoyed traveling, taking pictures of everything around her, and attending fishing trips with her husband after retirement. Her quirky qualities made her one of the best people in the room, she was never embarrassed to be herself and that is what made her so amazing. Anytime her daughters needed something she was there, even if she was just along for the ride. No words could ever describe the impact she made on the people around her, she will never be forgotten. Rita was born on December 16 th , 1945 in Hayti, MO. She leaves behind her loving husband, Richard Ellis; 4 daughters Regina Shelley, Rachel Cooper, Stacy Kidwell, and Carla Lee; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her 2 fur babies; Hoss and Brody.
