Rita Kiperts O''Daniel, 76, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharron O''DanielÍ sister, Erika UnderwoodÍ and brother, Arvids Kiperts. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Lee Gene O''DanielÍ children: Carol Woods (Pete) of Southaven, MS, Sandra Swinford (Johnny) of Walls, MS, Chris O''Daniel (Amy) of Tupelo, MS, and Suzanne Watkins (Richard) of Red Banks, MSÍ 16 grandchildrenÍ 6 great-grandchildrenÍ brothers: Edvins Kiperts, Augusts Kiperts (Beralta), Karlis Kiperts (Camilla), Valdis KipertsÍ and sisters: Irene Sherman (Rick), Ziga Beloate, and Regina Peel (Phil). Rita could run circles around anyone and had the most amazing memory. She told wonderfully interesting stories about coming to America and how life was for her immigrant family in Mississippi. She raised a house full of children who are just as warm and loving as she was. She was a great example of a generous and doting wife. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with a funeral service Wednesday at 2:00 pm. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South on Holmes Road.
