Robert H. Billings, 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Mr. Billings was a retired road driver for UPS Freight (Overnite). He was a Master Mason of Hernando Lodge #51. A Free and Accepted Mason of Hernando, Ms. A member of the Wahabi Shriner's of Jackson, MS. The president of Desoto Shrine Club of Nesbit. A member of the Desoto Motor Corp. He was the Assistant Director of Wahabi Hospital Transportation for the north half of Ms. Also a member of Berea Baptist Church of Horn Lake. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Carrie Billings; a sister, Margaret Trotter and brother, Bud Billings. He leaves his wife, Virginia Billings. A step-daughter, Pam Johnson (Kenny); a step-son, Bart Vinson (Cissy); one sister, Irene Hollingsworth and a brother, Milton Billings (Pat). Three grandchildren: Luke Johnson (Joy), Lyndsi Blanton (Brandon) and Kaylin Vinson. Two great-grandchildren: Owen Johnson and Aubrie Blanton. Visitation is at 12 noon Thursday, November 13 at Forest Hill South and service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Desoto Shrine Club Hospital Transportation.
