ROBERT JAY BEESON "Bob", 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Methodist Healthcare Hospice facility with his wife, son and daughter by his side. Bob was the owner of Metro Machinery and Metro Machinery Appraisals for over 34 years. He was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and active in his Sunday School class. He was a member of the Rebel Ski Club where he and Charlene were avid skiers in the late 60''s. Bob was also a lifelong member of the Memphis Street Rod Association and the Steam-fitters Local 614 Union. He was a member of Al Chymia Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thordes and Barron Beeson. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughter, Robin (Mike) and son, Jay (Jacque), and five grand-children, Will and Walker Enck and Devyn, Chloe and Barron Beeson. Bob also leaves behind a sister, Carol Fratesi (Bob). Visitation is 5-7 p.m., Sunday, March 30 and the funeral is Monday, March 31 at 10 a.m., both to be held at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Rd., Bartlett, TN 38134. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Progressive Class at Bartlett United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
