Robert (Bob) Edgar Brogden passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 94.  Bob was born the forth of five children to Edgar and Izora Brogden in Denison, IA on December 27, 1923.

Bob was a World War II Navy veteran and master mason, married Helen R. Ebert, and began careers in sales and truck driving.  He and Helen were married for 56 years and had 5 children.  Bob was an active member of Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church for many years.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Helen, his parents, Edgar and Izora and his siblings.  He leaves behind his sons Robert (Bob) P. (Kathy) of Memphis, Rodney (Sherry) of Senatobia, MS, Rory (Donna) of Atoka, TN and daughters Kay Carroll (Murray) of Huntsville, AL, Sheryl Williamson (Steve) of Crossville, TN., 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday, June 18, 2018; funeral services will follow at 2:00 Monday.  All services are entrusted to Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
