Robert "Bob" Earl Campbell, 87, of Millington, went to be with the Lord October 26, 2012. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 33 years and then worked as a Builder. Mr. Campbell was a deacon and choir member of Lucy Baptist Church and a longtime member of Gideon''s International. He also was a WWII Navy veteran. Mr. Campbell is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred Campbell; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Eileen Campbell; sister, Nancy Bishop of Olive Branch, MS; two grandchildren, Daniel J. Campbell and Racheal Butler; five great-grandchildren, Veronica Butler, Cameron Butler, Colby Butler, Vada Butler, and Daniel J. Campbell, Jr. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Campbell of Memphis, Phillip Campbell of NY, Don Campbell of Cookeville, TN and a sister, Mary Virginia Stewart. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 1 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, with family receiving friends an hour prior. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. The family request any memorials be sent to Gideon''s International.
