Alan Copeland, an accomplished audio-visual designer, photographer, and Memphis musician, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 24, 2022.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Suzanne; his sons Jay Malinoski and wife Jacee, Jeffrey Copeland and wife Jaime, and Tony Terrell and wife Elena. He has 11 grandchildren. He was so proud of the men they grew up to be and the beautiful families that they built.

Alan was born on January 20, 1947, in Columbia, Missouri. His interest in music started at an early age and it became a life-long passion. He continued to play in bands his entire life.

Alan is best remembered as a talented drummer and vocalist and an even better man. He had an easy-going style and genuine care for others that generated deep and wide personal connections. He will be greatly missed by so many.
