Robert Michael Daugherty (Mike), a resident of Oakland Tn, born and raised in Memphis, TN, left to be with our Lord on July 30, 2019, in his home residence at the age of 72 years young. Mike was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, and to all who came in and out of his life.

He grew up in Memphis, TN and graduated from Messick High but continued his education for many years learning as much as he could to further his passion for Mechanics.  This was after serving in the Vietnam War and earning a rank of Sargent Daugherty. Mike was a Jack of all trades and master of most. He enjoyed learning and helping anyone he passed by. He started at a young age with his stepfather learning to build houses, plumbing, electrical, framing, roofing, and many more talents.

He took pride in his Memphis home and served as a Judge for the Memphis BBQ network for many years prior to being on a cooking team (The Good, the Bad, the Swine). Also, he worked as a self-employed mechanic owning his own business. He also picked up many talents in other positions with Bell South Utility, M&M packaging Delivery, Multiple diesel mechanic companies and finally retiring as a Top Wrench Mechanic for Fed Ex. Mike loved old cars and was a proud owner of many vehicles, small engine motors, boating, and other "Nick Nacks". He enjoyed anything outdoors including cruises, snorkeling, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and cutting grass with his grandson who both had an obsession with tractors and trains. Mike loved John Wayne, old westerns and attending the Memphis Orpheum. He was a fan of Memphis State Football and Basketball and other college teams and NFL teams. He collected tools, stamps, coins, coca-cola memorabilia, and had a love for art and music. He loved to travel all over and wanted to make the most of each place he went to visit. He wanted to visit Ireland and Thailand but did not make it.

Most importantly he made sure his daughter was always taken care of and loved along with many others. He has given the shirt off his back for a stranger. Food to the homeless. Donations to the Veterans and LeBonheur. He had a huge heart and gave it all to everyone.

Mike has left to join his father Raymond S. Daugherty, his mother Vivian L. Call-Talley, his beloved Stepfather Woodrow J Talley, a sister Martha Daugherty Revelle and a brother Kenneth Daugherty. Mike leaves behind his Daughter Heather Bledsoe, son in law Darryl Bledsoe II, grandson Hunter Bledsoe. Along with his brother Woodie Talley, and his kids Sarah and Ben. His nephew Mike Revelle was named after. His girlfriend Georgia Garrett and her family.
