Robert N Foster, 98, passed away in Humboldt, Tennessee on June 10, 2019.  Mr. Foster was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II, definitely part of "The Greatest Generation."  After retirement, Mr. Robert went to school on the GI Bill, and became a jack-of-all-trades.  He enjoyed working on small engines, and helping people with plumbing issues.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Thelma Foster, and his parents, Alexander and Minnie Bell Goodman Foster.  Left to honor and cherish his memory are his children: Robert (Conni) Foster, II of Fayette County, TN,  and daughters, Terry (Freddie) Capalongo of Brighton, TN and Barbara Ann Baker of Texas.  Mr. Foster had been blessed with three grandchildren: Lauren (Jeremy) Edwards, Bobbie Leanne Foster, and Cara Capalongo, and six great-grandchildren: Harlee, Shane, Jayden, Jaxon, Abigail, and Jett.  Visitation with his family will be on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 pm, with his funeral services, with military honors, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 901-382-1000
