Born, Nov. 3, 1935 and died, March 30, 2016. Retired from Memphis Police Department after 32 1/2 years of service. Served in the US Army. Was a long-time member and elder at Cordova Church of Christ. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce Foster Hall; two daughters, Letitia "Cissy" Turner (Don) and Cindy Palmer (Jimmy); son, Robert Donald Hall, Jr. (Donna); nine grandchildren, Dale, Mallorie, Melissa, James, Seth, Shelby, Albany, Mia and Jim; four great grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Cole and Raylan; and by two sisters, Dot Garner (Gene) and Jean Wheatley. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 3-4 PM immediately followed by the funeral service at 4:00 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
