Robert (Bob) Jordan Henry, 88, of Memphis, TN passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018.  Bob was a very compassionate and caring individual who loved his family deeply. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert III, and parents, Albert L. Henry, Jr. and Carriemae Jordan Henry.  He leaves behind his longtime love and companion, Sarah Delores Hewitt; and three children, Robert Scott Henry (Beth), Lenalisa Henry Collins (Brian), and Jeffrey Taft White (Nancy); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob attended college at Mercer University (Rome, GA) and UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) with majors in psychology and business administration.  He was an active member in his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. Upon graduation, he proudly spent several years serving as an Officer in the US Naval Reserve, and deployed as a crewmember on the USS WASP.  His professional years were spent as an executive in personnel management and human resources where he specialized in labor and employee relations, benefits, and compensation. The last 28 years of his working career he was in the Memphis area and was employed by Dobbs International and Carrier Corporation.  His total professionalism and unique ability to create a harmonious working environment contributed greatly to the success of any company he was working for. He also took great pleasure in mentoring his employees to ensure their professional advancement..

Graveside service will be at Forest Hill Funeral Memorial Park - East on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00am.
