Robert "Bob" LeMay (85) passed away on March 15,2021. Jesus took his hand as he took his last breath here on earth. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine LeMay, his son Robert LeMay Jr. and daughter Diane LeMay White (Brian); his grandchildren Ashley LeMay, Preston White, Katie White Mason (Conor), Robert "Trip" LeMay III ( Lindsey) and Christina White. Also his 5 great granddaughters Alyssa, Addalise, Aveley-Kate, Ashlyn, and Layla. He is also survived by his twin brother William "Bill" LeMay (Debra), and sister Margaret Ann Bickers. His family welcomed him home, his parents, John and Carrie LeMay, and siblings John LeMay Jr., Carolyn Bobbitt and Ruth Wiseman.
Bob loved Jesus and it showed in his everyday life. He was a faithful active member of First Baptist Church Olive Branch for 44 years. He served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and soloist. Bob also sang with The Justified Jug Band for a time. He retired as an Engineer from Kellogg's , served as president of the Memphis Plant Retirement Group and member of the 25 year Retiree Club. Bob graduated South Side High School in 1954 and served in the US Army active duty and reserves. A celebration of life will be announced later.
