Robert F. Meek, 75, of Atoka passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis. Mr. Meek was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of First Baptist Church of Atoka. He retired from The University of Memphis. Robert was preceded in death by his parents: James E. and Irene Meek. He leaves his loving wife, Patricia Meek; his daughter, Debra Bengal (David) of Charlotte, NC and son, Ronald Meek (Venus) of Brighton, TN; three sisters: Jeanette Cain, Nancy Ricketts, and Sherry Meek; two brothers: Jimmy and Jerry Meek; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at Forest Hill East with service following. Burial will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
