Robert Terry Moore, 67, of Bartlett, TN passed away on December 15, 2018.  Terry was a US Army Veteran that served in Okinawa from 1970 to 1973.  He trained as a Medic, and worked in medical materials.  Terry was an assistant youth minister in the 1980's at Cherokee Baptist Church on Quince Road in Memphis.  He was very active in the church and guided many young lives to Christ through his music and the songs he wrote, some very comical.

Terry worked for over 20 years for S & S Electric as a Master Electrician.  After being injured on the job, Terry went back to school and received numerous certifications in residential and commercial building code.  In 1997 Terry started working for the Town of Collierville as the building and electrical code inspector. He retired in 2011.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Modena Spain Scott; stepfather, Jack Dortch Scott, and father, Bertram A. Moore Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Gina Sere Bethea Moore of Bartlett, TN: his daughters, Dr. Emily Moore Granato (Joe) of Hendersonville, TN and Sarah Moore Hogan (Dr. Charles) of Cordova, TN; his son, Zachary Moore PO2 U.S.C.G (Holly) of New Orleans, LA; stepdaughter, Lindsey Bethea of Bartlett, TN; stepmother, Bettie G. Moore of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Bertram A. Moore III (Linda) of Howenwald, TN, Richard Spain Moore (Toni) of

Howey-in-the Hills, FL, Jonathan Dortch Scott (Martha), of Oxford, MS, Joseph Reeves Scott of Oxford, MS; sisters,

Rebekah Moore Rayborn (Mitch) of Oklahoma City, OK and Ruth Moore Pasarela (Daniel) of Las Vegas, NV.  Terry had six grandchildren:  Hayden, Haleigh, and Holden Moore, Andy Hogan, and Sofia & Luke Granto, who knew him as Paw Paw Terry, Paw Paw Donald (from his Donald Duck impressions) and Hamster (from the sound effects he'd make).  Terry was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.  He will be remembered for his kindness and compassion, his beautiful smile, and whimsical nature.  Earth's loss is certainly Heaven's gain.
