Robert Eugene Nixon was born October 14, 1973 in Memphis TN to Dennis and Nancy Strain Nixon. He departed this life and went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2016 in Jonesboro AR.

Robert gave his life to Christ and was baptized at an early age at Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis TN. Robert had a devout love for his family and friends but especially his sons Gage and Jackson. He lived a life committed to his work until his health failed a few years ago. Robert was loved by everyone that came to know him over the years. He truly had a heart for the hurting and would give his last to anyone in need. He also had a passion for painting and an undeniable love for collecting hats. His personality was the life of the party. He touched the lives of so many people, be it young or old, with his wonderful charisma. Robert will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Gage and Jackson of Middleton TN, is father, Dennis Nixon of Jonesboro AR, his mother, Nancy K. Draffin of Florida, his two brothers, Lee Nixon (Laverne) of Cordova TN, and Paul Davis (Kim) of Manila AR, his sister, Becky Harston (Chris) of Memphis TN, a family friend, Margaret Veteto of Jonesboro, and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by; his mother: Cathy Davis Nixon.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
