The angel of the lord came and summoned Robert Piggie to eternal peace, September 12, 2023. "Tiny" as he was affectionally called was born November 1, 1949 to proud parents of Willie and Lucille Piggie. Where he was nurtured, loved, and raised together with his siblings in the James Subdivision, in Raleigh, TN. On July 23, 1972 he united in holy matrimony to the former Marva Parker. His interest included family. He devoted much of his time and energy in raising his three children. He enjoyed watching football and spending quality time with his wife and family. Tiny worked many years for MLGW. He retired after 35 years in 2007. He leaves behind his devoted wife Marva Piggie of 51 years, two daughters Sonya Jones, Robyn Williams (Octavias) of Douglas, GA. One son Robert, Jr, three grandchildren, Oaklynn, Octavias Jr, Ozyone Williams of Douglas, GA. Goddaughter Lorreta Brooks, family friends, Genese Douglas, Josephine Brooks, and Pamela Frank. His best friend for many years, Frank Merriweather, and a host of relatives and friends.
