Robert C. Pittman passed on March 28th, 2026 at the age of 71 at his home in Como, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe L. Pittman, Sr., his mother, Dorothy Pittman, and his brother, Joe L. Pittman, Jr.
Survived by his daughter, Jessica Pittman and husband, Chris Scull, of Salt Lake City, UT. His daughter, Emma and husband, Vinicius Miotto, of Dublin, Ireland. His son, Tristan Pittman of Memphis, TN, and son, Dylan Pittman and wife, Bailey, from Offutt AFB, Nebraska. His sister, Sharon and husband, John Lyman of St. Peters, MO and brother, Billy Pittman and wife Karen of Smithville, TN.
Robert (Bobby) Pittman followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps before him with a lifelong career as an ironworker with Local Union 167. He was a tinkerer and mechanically inclined with a passion for designing, building and optimizing structures.
In his leisure, he would go boating with family and friends, ride dirt bikes in his younger years, and loved to play guitar and listen to a wide range of music. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Brandon Mayer, Shelby Pittman, and Paul Anthony Miotto.
To celebrate his life, we will be gathering at Forest Hill East at noon (family), 12:30 (family and friends), with our memorial beginning at 2:00.
