Robert Russell, 87, of Southaven, MS passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his home. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 26 at Forest Hill South with visitation starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Russell served in the U.S. Army and was mostly self-employed during his working career. He was a member of Colonial Hills Church of Southaven. Robert leaves his wife, Melba Russell; one son, Gary Russell (Patti) of Smithville, AR; one daughter, Pam Russell Hurst (Skip) of St. George, DE; two grandchildren: Josh Russell (Leslie) of Coldwater, MS and Sarah Russell (JT) of Southaven; two great-grandchildren: Lucas Serda and Garrison Russell; one brother, R.L. Russell of Southaven; four sisters: Juanice Hooker of Southaven, Bonnie Clayton, Mary Kelley both of Tupelo, MS and Marjorie Hooker of Thaxton, MS.
