Robert L. Sanders, 93, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away on August 30, 2024.

Robert was a man who loved a challenge, especially doing projects. He was the "DIY" guy before that became a thing. He also liked to garden and travel. Robert was truly a man of service, he devoted his time at Trafalgar Village Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member and also served this country in The United States Air Force in Korea during the war. Of all the things he enjoyed, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Sanders; parents, James and Bonnie Sanders; two brothers, Donald Sanders, and Jack Sanders.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Cathy Hardwick Polk (Aubrey); three sons, Robert Lowery Sanders, Jr. (Janet), James Roy Sanders, and David Lee Sanders (Lorrie), one sister, Mary Katherine Hickle; seven grandchildren, Robert D. Sanders (Danielle), Jana L. Simpson (Michael), Joshua D. Polk (Angela), Joseph A. Polk, Amanda P. Oliver (Cody), Kristen C. Sanders, and Adam Sanders (Brittany); twelve great-grandchildren, Skylar, Landon, Camden, Cody, Monica, Jay, Lily, Amos, Daisy,  Slade, Jack and Lucy soon to make her arrival!
