Robert W. Sipowich, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Bob was a beloved husband, father, and nephew. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Joan; his daughter Dawn Sparks (Allen); and his beloved aunt, Helen Kern. He served his country in the U. S. Army and retired as a civilian engineer for the U. S. Navy. Bob was a member of Scenic Hills United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends, 12-2 pm, Saturday, followed by services at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Memphis Humane Society.
